On my daily commute back to Berkeley, I have spotted this (apologies for the cruddy image). Faktiski, I’ve seen a handful of these pop up around San Francisco and it makes me want to tear my hair out every time. For those who are new to my blog, this goes back to my Genius of the Press X. I’m also not the only one to have noticed this mexican butterfly billboard taxonomy fail.
Ah, the 30 foot migration of viceroys from one side of the river to the other. I’ve seen the same mistake in books as well. 🙂

A friend pointed me to your blog because she knows I have a similar pet peeve about this kind of thing. Here are a couple of examples that I posted on my blog, but they’re a few years old already.
It’s great to see someone else pointing out glaring insect errors. Keep it up!
