Here are some screenshots from one of my favorite podcasts, The Moth! For those who aren’t aware of it, you should check it out – and be surprised that it’s not actually entomology related. True stories told live on stage that range from hilarious to heartbreaking. BUT, they have made an appearance on my GOP – who can tell me why?
Is that the silouette of a skipper? (It is certainly not a moth). It does seem to be lacking notes, which I know is one of The Moth’s storytelling criteria.
Yup! It certainly is a skipper, I’d even guess it was in the subfamily Pyrginae: something near this one. It’s too bad they weren’t more careful by using a butterfly as their ‘moth’ logo…
